Chances R >> Nowheresville
(Jason Allen - 1992)
Here comes the ocean, here comes the sea
Out above the outside edge, somewhere over me
Here comes the warning, here comes the sound
Lost again in Nowheresville
Someplace underground
In Nowheresville you can see the sky
Another world that ain't a part of mine
Why fight the powers, why fight the fall?
There's no use in complaining it won't help at all
Here comes another, hands above his head
Freaking out on the interstate
The King is playing dead
In Nowheresville you can see the sky
Another world that ain't a part of mine
In Nowheresville you can let it go
Another world that always fails to show
On the outside there is hunger
Don't be fooled
'Cause we the outsized are under...
We're under your walls and we let it go...
Fails to show, fails to show

"The twin brother of One And The Same except it was about getting pissed and not guns. In my mind, Nowheresville was somewhere in between the New Inn in Keynsham and my house on a Friday night! I could never quite fathom out how I got home sometimes, so I put it all down to travelling into Nowheresville for a bit, kind of like blacking out, only still being able to walk. John's toms blew up a reverb unit when we were mixing this."
