Chances R >> One And The Same
(Jason Allen - 1992)

City time, smoke from an empty gun
Bullets made with names on...
To whom it may concern
Danger line, crossed by a no-mans-hand
Rockets made with price tags
To whom it may concern

One and the same
See the razors edge to blame

Feeling fine, flames from a city store
Bombs displayed with honesty
To whom it may concern
Razors edge, don't kick the sharpened line
Falls so fast it's lost again
So we disregard the cost

One and the same
See the razors edge to blame

Cuts so deep it scars
Under a flag without the stars

Jason says...
"This was a cheery little number about drug gangs and gun warfare. I had the line about 'bullets made with names on' in my head for ages and managed to eventually pad it out enough with gun references to make a half-song of it. Roy does a handy Ronald Reagan impression on the studio version."
